PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operator operability in a sheet processing device formed by combining an image forming device 200 with a paper folding device 1. SOLUTION: The image forming device 200 is provided with a first input means 220, a means 401 for registering input paper folding information and paper folding information transferred by a second transfer 411 in a first storage 402, a first transfer 401 for transferring the input paper folding information registered in the first storage 402 to the paper folding device 1, and a means 401 for instructing the paper folding device 1 on "on-line folding" based on the paper folding information registered in the first storage 402. The paper folding device 1 is provided with a second input means 20, a means 411 for registering the input paper folding information and the paper folding information transferred by the first transfer 401 in a second storage 412, the second transfer 411 for transferring the input paper folding information registered in the second storage 412 to the image forming device 200, and a control means 411 for performing "off-line folding" based on the paper folding information designated by the second input means 20 and registered in the second storage 412.
