PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an envelope capable of easily confirming contents without a content carelessly falling even if a lid of the envelope is not sealed with paste so as to attach an opening. SOLUTION: A fall prevention valve is provided on both side edges opposed to an opening part of an envelope body, the fall prevention valve is disposed at the inner side of the envelope body, and steps are mutually provided on the tip end edge of the fall prevention valve. One of the step is freely hooked on the other step, the fall prevention valves are divided into a plurality of pieces in the right angle direction to the opening part, and the hook direction of the step of the divided and adjacent fall prevention valves is set to be opposed each other.
