PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve and provide a manual device capable of well driving an external driving type tool body when a convenient binding tool capable of performing the mechanical binding by using a binding band is manually driven so as to reduce the cost, i.e., a manual device for driving a binding tool. SOLUTION: The manual device for driving the binding tool comprises an operation tool 4 which is manually operated so as to feed the driving force necessary for performing a series of binding operations via a power transmission mechanism D to a tool body H for performing a series of binding operations of feeding a binding band 1, winding the band around a work W to be bound, tightening and binding the band, and a torque limiter Tr functioned to disconnect the interlocking between the operation tool 4 and the power transmission mechanism D as the driving force over the predetermined value is applied to the power transmission mechanism D.
