PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step stand for getting-in/out, having nonslip effect, in which residue of unnecessary matter such as mud on a step surface can be prevented to the utmost. SOLUTION: The step stand 71 comprises the step surface 72, and a first slide surface 73 bent from a first side 72a of the step surface 72 to extend downward. To a flat member 71' before bending work to the first side surface 73, a plurality of first punch holes 74 are formed in such a form as to leave projections 73a projected toward the step surface 72 at an adjoining part to intermediate holes 74b in the first side surface 73. Bending work is carried out to the flat member 71' along a bending lineβthrough a pair of end hole parts 74a in the first punch holes 74 as a support point, so that the step surface 72 and the first side surface 73 are formed.
