PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool which can effectively reduce a vibration caused by the operation of a striking member, and is not enlarged even when a counter weight mechanism is provided. SOLUTION: A counter weight mechanism 70 is arranged at the portion opposed to a handle portion 10 in a motion changing housing 31. The counter weight mechanism 70 comprises a first supporting portion 71, a second supporting portion 72, a weight supporting member 73, and a counter weight 74. The first supporting portion 71 and the second supporting portion 72 are provided on a plane perpendicular to the reciprocating direction of a piston 43 so as to be opposed to each other. The first supporting portion 71 is composed of a pair of rubber members. The second supporting portion 72 is composed of a pair of steel rollers. The weight supporting member 73 is composed of leaf springs. The counter weight 74 is fixed to the weight supporting member 73 by means of bolts 75.
