The system has a reproduction unit for media-data for a person, and a receiving unit for automatic recording of conscious or unconscious reaction of the person from the media data. A control unit is provided for controlling an operating function of the reproduction unit and the receiving unit. The temporal characteristics of the media-data and person reactions registered by the gathering unit are synchronized by the control unit, where two of the units are integrated into a software module. The software module is designed as a media player and/or script based program. An independent claim is also included for a method for receiving media data of a person.
