A display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to make the brightness of the display device uniform by smoothly supplying a driving voltage or a common voltage to the whole area of a display area. A display device includes a first substrate(100), a light emitting layer, first voltage pads(130,140), a second substrate(200), second voltage pads(210,220), and flexible films(310,320). The first substrate(100) has a display area. The light emitting layer is formed in the display area. The first voltage pads(130,140) are formed outside of the display area on the first substrate(100), and apply a predetermined voltage to the display area. The second substrate(200) is formed at the upper part of the first substrate(100) in correspondence to the display area. The second voltage pads(210,220) are formed on one surface of any one of the first substrate(100) and the second substrate(200) which are arranged opposite to the direction of light emitted from the light emitting layer. The flexible films(310,320) electrically connect the first voltage pads(130,140) and the second voltage pads(210,220).
