<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-modified dispersible carbon black showing an excellent dispersibility in a nonpolar solvent, a low-polarity solvent or a resin, by performing surface modification by binding a functional group on a surface of a carbon black to a one-end diol-modified polymer via a triisocyanate compound. <P>SOLUTION: In the surface-modified dispersible carbon black, the surface functional group of the carbon black is bound to one of terminal isocyanate groups of the triisocyanate compound having isocyanate groups at three ends of an iso structure, and the other two terminal isocyanate groups are bound to a hydroxyl group of the one-end diol-modified polymer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
