PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a sealed battery capable of suppressing the occurrence of an internal short circuit even when a current collector and an electrode body are joined by using laser beams. SOLUTION: In a step forming a current collector in structure stacking two disks, installing a concentric circumferential interposing piece on the main surface of one disk, piercing a concentric circumferential hole capable of inserting the interposing piece in the other disk, and connecting the current connector to a rolled electrode body, a belt-shaped exposed core of a rolled electrode body is inserted into the concentric circumferential hole of a preceding disk, the exposed core is interposed between the interposing piece installed in the edge facing the concentric circumferential hole and a concentric circumferential interposing piece of the next disk, the interposing piece and the exposed core are joined by irradiating laser beam or the like to the main surface of an interposing piece of the next disk to electrically connect.
