PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel improved in exhaust capability. SOLUTION: This plasma display panel includes: a first substrate 210 and a second substrate 220 arranged oppositely to each other by being spaced apart; an electrode sheet 250 arranged between the first substrate 210 and the second substrate 220, provided with barrier ribs 214 for delimiting a plurality of discharge cells 230 and a plurality of pairs of discharge electrodes 260 and 270 generating discharge in the discharge cells 230, and partitioned into a discharge area for generating substantial discharge and a non-discharge area surrounding at least a part of the discharge area; and a spaced layer 255 formed on portions of the first substrate 210 corresponding to the non-discharge area, wherein at least a portion of the electrode sheet 250 within the discharge area is spaced apart from the first substrate 210 to form an exhaust space, and a portion of the electrode sheet 250 in the non-discharge area is arranged between the spaced layer 255 and the second substrate 220.
