PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autonomous virtualization system capable of easily and clearly grasping a physical unit assigned to a logic system dynamically changed by the control software of a management device, and a management device. SOLUTION: The autonomous virtualization system comprises the management device 1 having control software 10 and a plurality of the physical units 2. The management device 1 automatically sets a function specification name for specifying a logic system function assigned to the plurality of the physical units from the control software 10. The automatically set function specification name is sent from the management 1 to the plurality of physical units 2 respectively. The plurality of the physical units 2 receive the function specification name transmitted from the management device 1 respectively.
