PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door capable of supporting a stile part not abutted on a stile at a sash closing position in the direction of out-of-plane by locking a locking piece in a locking receiving piece and preventing a resin face member mounted on a frame assembly body of a sash from coming into contact with the locking receiving piece when opening and closing the sash while the resin face member warps in the heat. SOLUTION: The locking piece 20 is provided on a stile 14 on the other side of the sash 10 not abutted on a vertical frame 4 of a sash frame 1, the locking receiving piece 30 is attached to a vertical rib 6 of the sash frame 1 and can move freely in the out-of-plane direction over a supporting position and an evacuation position, a protruding member 40 is provided on the sash 10 toward the locking receiving piece 30, the locking piece 20 is locked in the locking receiving piece 30 when the sash 10 is at the closing position to support the stile 14 on the other side so as to prevent it from moving in the direction for leaving the locking receiving piece 30 in the out-of-plane direction, and the locking piece 20 leaves the locking receiving piece 30 and the protruding member 40 lets the locking receiving piece 30 move to the evacuation position when the sash 10 is opened.
