PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction planning system which can comparatively investigate a number of construction methods and construction plans in a short time. SOLUTION: The construction planning system is formed of: a construction method database in which data of building construction methods are stored method by method; an input means for reading shape data of a construction planning objective building; a construction method selecting means for selecting construction method data to be employed for constructing the construction planning objective building out of the construction methods stored in the construction method database; a member type estimating means for estimating the type of members constituting the shape data; a normalizing means for normalizing the estimated members; an attribute granting means for making reference to the construction method data selected by the construction method selecting means, dividing the shape data at every normalized member, and granting attribute information to every divided member; and a construction planning information output means for compiling the attribute information granted to each divided member, and generating and outputting construction planning information.
