PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify work, in a construction method for reinforcing a structure by sticking a reinforcing sheet material to a structure surface in a state of operating tensional force. SOLUTION: A loop part 1a is formed in both end parts of the reinforcing sheet material 1, and a connecting member 4 is inserted into the loop part 1a. The tensional force from a tension means 5 is made to act via these connecting member 4 and loop part 1a. The connecting member 4 is connected to a sheet material 1 only by being inserted into the loop part 1a, and since an adhesive, a pin, a bolt and the other fixing member are not required for the connection, connecting work is extremely simplified.
