<p>A mobile telephone has a structure where a first housing and a second housing are connected by a two-axis hinge, and the mobile telephone can receive a TV broadcast. The first housing has on its front surface a display section and on its rear surface an auxiliary display section. The second housing has on its front surface an operation section. The portable telephone (30) is off-hooked to start talking, from the following modes by only changing the state of the housings based on incoming call detection: a vertical or lateral TV viewing mode with the housings folded closed, a lateral TV viewing mode with the first housing (31) rotated 90 degrees, a TV viewing mode with control information displayed, and a TV viewing mode in a talking state.</p> |
