FIELD: concentration of mineral resources, in particular, apparatuses for spiral separators used in ore and sand concentration in mining industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: spiral separator has spiral trough, basic pulp feeding device, and cutoff devices for discharge of concentration products. Basic pulp feeding device is made in the form of sectioned box intersecting spiral trough from its upper to lower coil at the side of outer bead. Box is equipped with openings provided at site of junction with inner surface of trough and intended for feeding of basic pulp, and with openings for cutoff of oval-shaped fraction. Longer sides of box sections are extending perpendicular to course of advancement of pulp. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency in extracting of flattened small-sized gold particles, and increased efficiency of spiral separator. ^ 3 cl, 3 dwg |
