<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heating device of an elevator for efficiently heating water by using regenerative power of the elevator. <P>SOLUTION: A regenerative resistor 21 is provided inside a tank 22, and connected to a switching element 20 provided in an elevator driving device. The elevator driving device drives the elevator car 18 by supplying power, which is supplied from a power source 11, to a hoisting machine 16 through a diode bridge circuit 12, a capacitor 13 and an inverter 14. When running power is generated in operation of the elevator, regenerative power thereof is supplied to the regenerative resistor 21 provided inside the tank 22 through the switching element 20. With this structure, the regenerative resistor 21 generates the heat, and water 23 inside the tank 22 is heated by that heat. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
