PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of constituting a labyrinth for suppressing radiated noise between a metallic casing and a lid covering the casing with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: The electric power steering device comprises an electric motor 12 for generating the steering assist force to be transmitted to a steering system, and a steering assist control means 15 for performing the drive control of the electric motor 12. A labyrinth comprises a metallic casing 60 having an open end face and consisting of a bottom plate part 65 for accommodating the steering assist control means 15 and a side plate part 66 for surrounding its periphery, and a lid 70 for closing the open end face of the metallic casing 60. A stepped part 67 is formed on the end face of the side plate part 66, and a peripheral flange part 72 to be engaged with the stepped part 67 is formed on an outer periphery of the lid to constitute a labyrinth 80 for suppressing the radiated noise.
