PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a first motor generator of a vehicle and related equipment such as an inverter of this first motor generator. SOLUTION: A control device of the vehicle constitutes its characteristic feature of connecting the first motor generator to a first rotating element of a differential gear mechanism, connecting an output shaft of an engine to a second rotating element, connecting a driving shaft to a third rotating element and connecting the second motor generator to a fourth rotating element and travelling the vehicle and that the second motor generator is furnished with performance capable of travelling the vehicle only by its single output and sets a distribution ratio between each of the rotating elements so that the distribution ratio between the second rotating element and the third rotating element becomes 1 and the maximum torque of the second motor generator is constituted so that engine torque at engine rotating speed in starting the vehicle becomes equal to a value divided by the distribution ratio between the third rotating element and the fourth rotating element.
