PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clouding resistant article and a clouding resistant agent composition having excellent clouding resistant property and excellent durability. SOLUTION: The clouding resistant article has a base body and a water absorbent crosslinking resin layer arranged on the surface of the base body, a water contact angle of the surface of the water-absorbent crosslinking resin is 30°or more (here the measured value two minutes after contacting with a water drop), and the saturated water absorbent quantity of the same in 60 mg/cm<SP>3</SP>or more. The clouding resistant composition being a liquid composition for forming the clouding resistant crosslinking resin layer of the surface of the base body by coating the same on the surface of the base body, drying and reacting the same, includes a crosslinkable vinyl polymer including a monomer unit (U1) of an unsaturated carboxylate ester based monomer having a cationic group and a monomer unit (U2) of an unsaturated carboxylate ester base monomer having a hydrocarbon group and a monomer unit (U3) of an unsaturated carboxylic acid based monomer, a crosslinking agent and a solvent.
