PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine, in which inside air is circulated in the machine, without installing the inside fan of the rotary electric machine. SOLUTION: A rotor 10, in which a rotor core 12 is engaged with a rotor shaft 11 and a rotor conductor 13 is inserted thereto, and a stator 20 with a stator coil 22 wound on a stator core 21 having the space in which the rotor 10 is arranged at a central part, are provided. The stator 20 is supported by a frame 23, and two or more spiral spaces are formed in the axial direction, between the rotor shaft 11 of the rotor 10 and the rotor core 12 so that a ventilation flue 14 between the stator 20 and a frame 23 is formed.
