PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency reporting device capable of issuing an alarm sound even without a switch operation by comparing an increased heartbeat rate when a person encounters an emergency with a normal heartbeat rate, in view of the fact that the switch operation required to issue the alarm sound of a security buzzer or the like in an emergency cannot be performed because the operator is panicked at that time. SOLUTION: The emergency reporting device includes an alarm sound output means for outputting the alarm sound; an alarm sound switch means for performing the switch operation of issuing the alarm sound from the alarm sound output means; a heartbeat rate detecting means for detecting a person's heartbeat rate; a control determination process means for determining whether or not the alarm sound should be issued according to the heartbeat rate detected by the heartbeat rate detecting means; a heartbeat rate reference value setting means for providing a reference value as the basis for the determination to the control determination process means; and a casing vibrating means for vibrating a casing under control of the control determination process means.
