PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method of producing silver oxide by which good silver oxide is obtained by a simple producing method without necessitating a large scale apparatus. SOLUTION: A composition for electrolytically forming a silver oxide film comprises an aqueous solution containing a silver compound and a complexing agent and having pH≥5.
