PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer (a conductive resin enabling photo-insolubilization) soluble in organic solvents and excellent in film-forming properties, also advantageous from an economical aspect. SOLUTION: This conductive resin enabling photo-insolubilization is characterized by containing a trans-poly(arylenevinylene) having a number-average molecular weight of≥1,000 and a photo-insolubilizable group having a formula weight of≤200.
