PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an innovative method for storing an aimed gas using innovative soot which can enclose water in a restricted range. SOLUTION: Soot containing prescribed carbon as a main component is prepared and water is absorbed by the soot to activated the soot. Next, the water-absorbing soot is set in a prescribed gaseous atmosphere to cause reaction with the gas component of the gaseous atmosphere and produce a prescribed gas condensate. The soot containing the gas condensate is cooled to a prescribed temperature of lower and separated from the gaseous atmosphere to keep the gas condensate. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
