PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple-structured seat protection frame which allows a large child to easily get off a child seat in cases where the child is prevented from getting off the child seat, and a seat with the same. SOLUTION: This seat 10 comprises: a frame 100; an upper cover 200 shaped like an upper chair for covering the upper front part of the frame; a lower cover 300 for covering the lower front part of the frame; a protection frame 400 for regulating movements of a child seated on a seat part 210 of the upper cover. The protection frame 400 consists of a handrail frame 410 fixed on the frame and a crotch guard 420 pivotally attached to the handrail. One end of the crotch guard 420 holds the handrail 410, while the other end of the crotch guard 420 is removably attached to the frame 100 so that it can be detached from the frame 100. When the other end of the crotch guard 420 is removed from the frame 100, the crotch guard 420 is allowed to be turned about the handrail frame 410. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
