PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of failure in removal of static electricity even in the cleaning with an auxiliary suction port connected to a joint part or with extension tubes of several kinds installed in the conventional electric vacuum cleaner. SOLUTION: In the electric vacuum cleaner which has a cleaner body with a dust collection part, a hose connected to the cleaner body and a joint part which has a hose connection part connected to the hose on one end side while having extension tube connection parts for the connection of extension tubes on the other end side, the joint is provided with an anti-static member having the function of removing static electricity.
