PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pet-watching device by using an IC tag capable of detecting body temperature data without giving any uncomfortable feeling to the pet. SOLUTION: This pet-watching device is characterized by installing a first temperature-measuring part equipped with an electric source battery and measuring/memorizing the temperature at each of prescribed times, a second temperature-measuring part equipped with an IC tag having a temperature-measuring part and capable of being buried in a suitable position of the body of the pet and measuring the temperature, an IC tag-reading part for reading the measured body temperature information, an inputting part capable of inputting a pedigree information, living body information such as body weight value, etc., vaccination information, etc., and a memory part for memorizing the measured values from the body temperature-measuring parts, and displaying the trends of various living body information memorized by the memory part, while memorizing the trends of the body temperatures measured at prescribed times by the first temperature-measuring part in advance and also displaying the body temperature measured by the second temperature-measuring part by comparing with the body temperature data memorized as the trends, together with the ID data of the pet.
