A 2 stage Doherty power amplifier is provided to generate the flat gain characteristic and the improved linear characteristic by mounting a digital voltage controller and generate optimal efficiency point by adjusting apparatus to the driving terminal and the amplifying terminal. A 2 stage Doherty power amplifier includes an amplifying terminal(100) and a driving terminal(200). The amplifying terminal(100) is push-pull package type having a main amplifier(110) and a peaking amplifier(120) connected by a lambda/4 impedance transformer. The driving terminal(200) is single-ended package type consisting of a main driving amplifier(210) which drives the main amplifier(110) of the amplifying terminal(100), and a peaking driving amplifier(220) which drives the peaking amplifier(120).
