A method and an apparatus for processing piles of a velvet fabric are provided to arrange the piles formed on the velvet fabric of various types, by standing the piles in a vertical direction or laying the piles in an oblique direction. Functional agents are adsorbed on a pile fabric by passing the pile fabric, which is supplied from a supplying unit(200), through an immersing unit(300). The processed pile fabric is pressurized and firstly dehydrated. The dehydrated pile fabric is dried by a drying unit(400) consisting of plural drying cylinders. Piles on the velvet fabric are uniformly arranged in a desired direction by passing the dried velvet fabric through a processing unit(500) consisting of first, second and third processing parts. The velvet fabric processed by the processing unit is loaded on a loading unit(700) through a guiding unit(600). |
