An iontophoretic device comprising a working-side electrode structure furnished with a first electrode and a drug solution holding section in which a viscous liquid containing drug ions, water and a water-soluble polymer is held; a non-working-side electrode structure furnished with a second electrode and an electrolytic solution holding section in which an electrolytic solution is held; and a power source having two ends connected via power supply wires to the first electrode and second electrode. Thus, there can be provided an iontophoretic device that as compared with the conventional iontophoretic devices making use of gelled drug compositions, realizes simplification of the production process.
