An information processing apparatus and a method thereof are provided to enable the selection of printer drivers to be suitable to application in a configuration that a plurality of graphic engines coexist and the printer drivers with different graphic engines can be installed. An information processing apparatus comprises the followings: a determination unit(2012) which is configured to determine a type of application of a first type or a second type as output source with respect to the printer driver of a first type or a second type; a detection unit(2013) which is configured to detect printer drivers, which is suitable for the type of application of the first type or the second type, from printer drivers of the first type and printer drivers of the second type installed in the information processing apparatus; and a display control unit(2014) which is configured to display the printer drivers detected by the detection unit on a display to select a printer driver as the output destination.
