<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer-coated stent which improves an adhesion between a polymer coating and a metal as a base thereof and maintains the adhesion between the materials for a long time within a biological environment. <P>SOLUTION: After pretreating the base metal with a specific primer having an adhesion-enhancing effect, namely a primer containing, as an essential component, an organic compound having a plurality of acidic hydroxyl groups and at least one functional group in a molecule, a hydrophobic and flexible polymer coating is formed over the base metal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
