NODE APPARATUS, AND WAVELENGTH SWITCHING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a facility cost in making control planes redundant.

SOLUTION: A standby wavelength interface 51 with a wavelength of the control plane is shared in common with a standby wavelength interface 51 of a data plane in a fiber 4 through which data of the data plane are transmitted/received. Node apparatuses 1 (1A, 1B) refers to a table compatible with the standby wavelength interface on the occurrence of a fault in a fiber 3 of the control plane to establish the wavelength interface used for a present wavelength of the control plane in the fiber 3 to the standby wavelength interface 51 of the data plane.
