摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single molecular magnet stabilized in the conformation of a metal complex, and capable of being applicable as nano material while having residual magnetization. <P>SOLUTION: In a formula (1), R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>, R<SP>3</SP>, R<SP>4</SP>and R<SP>5</SP>show respectively and independently hydrogen atom, halogen atom or the like. The single molecular magnet is obtained through the optical irradiation against a solution consisting of the mixture of organic metal complex shown by a formula (6) and solvent. In the formula (6), R<SP>10</SP>shows methyl group or the like respectively and independently, R<SP>11</SP>and R<SP>12</SP>show respectively and independently hydrogen atom, halogen atom or the like, and M shows Sc, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Y, Zr, Nb, Mo, Ru, Rh, Pd, Ag, Cd, Hf, Ta, W, Re, Os, Ir, Pt, Au or Hg, while X shows halogen atom or the like and n shows the positive integer of 1-3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
