<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an occupant crash protection device of a vehicle capable of more effectively functioning a curtain airbag. <P>SOLUTION: A perforated line 21, which is broken by a tensile force higher than a predetermined value, is formed on a connection part 12b between a front expansion part 12aF corresponding to a center seat 3 of a rear curtain airbag 12 and a rear expansion part 12aR corresponding to a jumping-up type rear seat 4. When the rear curtain airbag 12 is hooked with the rear seat 4 during deployment and a deployment resistance is generated thereby, the rear curtain airbag 12 can maintain smooth deployment and a regular deploying state at the front expansion part 12aF, since the tensile force is prevented from being acted on the front expansion part 12aF by the breakage of the perforated line 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
