<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect abnormal timing in a sampling pulse. <P>SOLUTION: A sample timing monitor system has at least one detection circuit. The detection circuit comprises: a pulse conversion circuit for converting the timelike relationship between a drive signal for driving an imaging pickup device and the sampling pulse supplied to a sampling circuit for performing correlation double sampling to an analog output signal outputted from the image pickup device to a pulse; an integrating circuit to which a pulse outputted from the pulse conversion circuit is inputted; and a voltage comparison circuit for determining whether an output voltage from the integrating circuit is within a prescribed range. The detection circuit can detect abnormal output timing in the sampling pulse based on a result determined by the voltage comparison circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
