<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing processed food reduced in generation of acrylamide comprising reducing generation of acrylamide without spoiling flavor of processed food. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing processed food comprises cooling food heated at a temperature of ≥120°C in a misty media. The processed food is produced by the method.
