<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a driving feeling and to correspond to request from a driver for traveling with large power. <P>SOLUTION: In this control method, when a kickdown switch Ksw is off, a predetermined small value γ1 is set for a reduction ratio limit γmax as an upper limit of a ratio of an engine speed with respect to the number of revolutions of a drive shaft (S130). When the kickdown switch Ksw is on, a predetermined value γ2 larger than the predetermined value γ1 is set for the reduction ratio limit γmax (S140). When an engine is operated on an operation line for efficiently operating the engine within a range of the reduction ratio limit γmax, a power limit Pemax as an upper limit of power allowed to be output from the engine is set (S150), a target power Pe* of the engine is set by limiting a vehicle request power P* by the power limit Pemax (S160), and an target engine speed Ne* and target torque Te* are set based on the set target power Pe* and the operation line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
