<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer or the like which makes printing by receiving gradation information of each color, and also makes printing even when each color has a different amount of gradation information. <P>SOLUTION: The printer 3 which makes printing according to gradation data of each ink color has an input and storage means 33, a transferring means 34, and a printing means. When an arbitrary color has gradation data having different amounts of information for each predetermined printing range, the input and storage means 33 inputs and stores the gradation data, for each color and for each predetermined unit data, and at least divides and inputs the predetermined printing range for data of any color and of any information amount. The transferring means 34 transfers data each time data for the predetermined printing range is stored, and the printing means makes printing according to the transferred data. When the unit data is input, the transferring means executes transferring at least if data having the same color as the input data and a different amount of information from the input data, exists in data stored and to be transferred. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
