<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device which transmits light having a specified wavelength in the direction opposite to the incident side, can visualize the light as a clear image light, and has high transparency. <P>SOLUTION: The optical device 10 includes a first reflection layer 11 having wavelength selectivity, and a second reflection layer 12 which is disposed behind the first reflection layer 11 and has wavelength selectivity. The first reflection layer 11 and the second reflection layer 12 diffuse reflection light in accordance with their own structures, and a diffusing angle of light reflected by the first reflection layer 11 is different from that of light reflected by the second reflection layer 12. The wavelength selectivity of the first reflection layer 11 and the wavelength selectivity of the second reflection layer 12 are established such that light 14 of a first wavelength band among light 13 into the first reflection layer 11 is transmitted by the first reflection layer 11, light 15 of second wavelength band among the light 14 is reflected by the second reflection layer 12, light 16 of a third wavelength band among the light 15 is reflected by the first reflection layer 11 and light 17 of a fourth wavelength band among the light 16 is transmitted in the behind direction of the second reflection layer 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
