<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create an e-mail by which new e-mail reproduction satisfying an intention of a writer is performed. <P>SOLUTION: The e-mail is constituted by making a user select an optional element of a text element, an image element and a sound element as element type for input on a display picture, making a user input the content of the element and combining a plurality of input elements. Otherwise, an area switching means for making the user input character strings constituting an e-mail text using a conversion candidate area for displaying candidate phrases for prediction conversion and a character input area and switching the conversion candidate area to the one for text input and the one for at least inputting image elements or sound elements may be provided.
