<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase instruction contents providable from a track ball. <P>SOLUTION: The front face side and back face side of a digital still camera 1 are provided with openings 9, 10, and the ball 3 is rotatably held to expose the surface from the openings 9, 10. When the ball 3 is rotated by the index finger from the front face side, a touch panel 4 provided on the back face side is touched with the thumb. When the ball 3 is rotated by the thumb from the back face side, a touch panel 6 provided on the front face side is touched with the index finger.
