<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mouse with a rotation operation detection function capable of detecting a rotation operation as well in addition to movement in a horizontal direction. <P>SOLUTION: The mouse 10 with the rotation operation detection function comprises an upper part 12, a lower part 13, a mouse shaft 14, a bearing 15 and a rotation switch. The upper part 12 and the lower part 13 are connected by the mouse shaft 14 and turned with the mouse shaft 14 as a central axis. Also, a roller joint part 22 is provided in the upper part 12 and a roller 32 and a rotation stopper 34 are provided in the lower part 13.
