<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid ejection head which can prevent a foreign substance from clogging a nozzle by capturing the foreign substance without a passage of liquid (ink) being blocked, and to obtain an image forming apparatus equipped with this. <P>SOLUTION: A filter 50 is constituted in a nozzle communication path 12. A step is formed in a capture face where the foreign substance included in the ink is captured. Since the step is formed in the capture face, when the film-like foreign substance is captured by the filter 50, the film-like foreign substance tilts at the step or drifts to the downstream side of the step. An opening is accordingly prevented from being totally blocked. The foreign substance can be prevented from clogging the nozzle by capturing the foreign substance without the passage of ink being blocked. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
