PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image quality and to shorten imaging time in the imaging of a plurality of z direction coordinate positions in conventional scan (axial scan) or cine scan. SOLUTION: In the conventional scan (axial scan) or the cine scan of the X-ray CT system having a two-dimensional X-ray area detector in a matrix structure represented by a multi-row X-ray detector or a flat panel X-ray detector, or the conventional scan (axial scan) synchronized with biological signals such as heart rate signals or respiration signals, or the cine scan synchronized with the biological signals such as the heart rate signals or the respiration signals, when gathering X-ray data at a plurality of z direction positions, X-ray data gathering of starting movement in z direction during X-ray data gathering is performed so as to make moving time in the z direction seem shorter, the z direction positions of respective view data are measured or predicted, and the z direction positions of the respective view data are taken into consideration to reconstitute three-dimensional images.
