PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a clearing method of an abnormal state in a conventional air conditioner where abnormality is displayed on a display portion of an air conditioner main body and a remote controller using two-way communication when abnormality occurs, that a reset switch and a power source switch of the air conditioner main body must be operated in each case, and further a power source cord must be pulled out, when a service man and a user clear an abnormal state to confirm the abnormal state again. SOLUTION: The air conditioner main body is provided with an abnormality determining means 1 and a communication circuit portion 6, and a power source of only the air conditioner main body in which the abnormality is detected, among the plurality of connected air conditioner main bodies, is reset by a remote control device 7 to clear the abnormality. When the abnormality is caused by accidental power source noise and the like, a work for operating the reset switch and the power source switch of the whole system of the air conditioner only to clear the abnormal state by the service man become unnecessary, request frequency to the service man is reduced, and workability is improved.
