PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor which obviates the deterioration in photoreceptor characteristics in spite of irradiation with an electron beam, suppresses the rise of a residual potential and can form a satisfactory image. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the electrophotographic photoreceptor having a charge generating layer containing at least a charge generating material and a charge transport layer containing at least a charge transport material and binder resin, and a surface layer containing at least a resin obtained by curing a compound having a chain polymerizable functional group by irradiation with an electron beam, successively in this order from a support side on a conductive support, in which the charge transport layer contains at least one amine compound having a specific structure as a charge transport material.
