PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ranging/communication composite system which integrally can process both ranging and communication functionalities. SOLUTION: This invented ranging/communication composite system 1 comprises transmit section 2 and receive section 3 to integrate two functionsof ranging and communication. The transmit section 2 consists of transmitter circuit 4, carrier modulation means 5 and transmitting antenna 6, while the receive section 3 consists of receiver circuit 7, detector 8, low noise amplifier (LNA) 9 and receiving antenna 10. For data modulation performed by the transmitter circuit 4, Pulse Position Modulator (PPM) system is used. Additionally, the receiver circuit 7 is separately provided with ranging circuit 11 and communication circuit 12 so as to simultaneously process demodulations of both ranging and communication.
