PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a solid electrolytic capacitor in which a solid electrolytic layer having excellent thickness uniformity can securely be formed. SOLUTION: When the solid electrolytic capacitor is manufactured, a capacitor prime body having a dielectric layer 8 formed on a surface of an aluminum base 7 is prepared first. Then a resist layer 6 is formed on the capacitor prime body 15 and then the solid electrolyte layer 9 is formed by chemical oxidation polymerization in a cathode formation region 7b of the capacitor prime body 15. In concrete, the cathode formation region 7b of the capacitor prime body 15 is dipped in polymeric liquid. Then the capacitor prime body 15 is lifted from the polymeric liquid P and rotated to generate centrifugal force at a tip-side portion of the capacitor prime body 15, thereby removing drops of excessive polymeric liquid P. After the polymeric liquid P is removed by drying, an electrode layer 10 is formed on the solid electrolytic layer 9. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
